Sofia is the spokesperson for Comcast XFinity TV in Spanish!

Sofia Vergara is starting out the year right! Comcast recently announced Vergara as their spokesperson for their cross-platform entertainment experience, XFinity TV in Spanish. XFinity TV offers programming with Spanish-language choices on TV, On Demand and online. As part of their offering, Comcast also introduced a Spanish-language entertainment portal which offer hundreds of Spanish movies and shows.

The recent NAACP Image award winner sat down with Latina to discuss the promising opportunity and how she finds balance in her über-busy life.

What was your initial reaction when Comcast approached you to be their spokesperson for Xfinity TV?
It’s great cause when I accept to be a part of a campaign I always have to feel that it’s something I can relate to and have something in common [with]. Its great [that] Comcast is targeting and providing Hispanic and Spanish-speaking people with programming and entertainment in their own language.

What kind of things are you doing in support of this partnership?
I’m there spokesperson so I’ll be doing press with them, doing commercials. I’m going to be face for XFinity. It’s an amazing opportunity!

How do you have balance your time with all these projects?
You have to learn to delegate, trust other people and surround yourself with professional people that can help you so you can focus on trying. For example, for me, it’s while being on the set for so many hours, filming. [Latina]

Sofia will be appearing at the 42nd Annual NAACP Image Awards! The gala honors achievements by people of color in the arts. It will be hosted by Wayne Brady & Holly Robinson Peete and kicks off at 8:00 p.

Ms. Sofia Vergara is nominated in the Supporting Actress category in Comedy for her amazing work as Gloria Delgado-Pritchett on ABC’s Modern Family!
